A Day in the Life of a Knowledge Lancer

Hello, blog readers!

I've been asked by a number of people how it looks to grind as a Knowledge Lancer/Archer, so I thought I would make a video of me grinding at my current spot, Golden Swamp Cave B2, as I hunt for Origin Pieces.

Leave any questions, comments or concerns below.

Besides that, hope you have an awesome day and happy hunting my friends.

Caught in the Twilight Zone

Good early morning, Prandel population!

I know, I know I haven't posted in a long time, due to the fact that all I've been doing is very boring really. I'm not grinding for levels at the moment, but for origin pieces but that is for another post.

This post is about our really fun GvG against Twilight, and I must say I was once again nervous about entering this GvG. Does that nervousness ever go away, readers? That slight sense of unknown and excitement, going into battle with you brethren at your backs, your enemies in their places, and your heart races just a bit as the flood gates open. Maybe it dissipates after the constant harrowing battles, but to be honest, I hope it never goes away. It makes it just that much more exciting and that much more memorable.

We had a much larger turn out this time around, though the other side also brought along a nice bit of people, and it was interesting seeing the difference between maneuvering a small, tight-knit group and coordinating with two larger groups, and how you have to adjust your strategy accordingly.

I did not record it, since my connection has been a bit laggy lately, and I didn't want that to be another factor in dying. Luckily, Prii showed up mid-battle to help her guild and she got at least her point of view on most of the GvG.

Thank you Prii for recording and uploading this to YouTube.
Though our name is "Ichigo" not "Ichiego".

As you can see, it was an interesting GvG, even if Prii sped it up and edited some of it out, haha. There were also a number of heavy hitters and big names there, so it was challenging as well. In the end, we ended up with this score.

I can say, the only person to kill me was Prii, so not too shabby on my part, though there were quite a few scares from other toons, and I'm sure the only things that saved me from them were full healing potions, panacea and a bit of running,

Also, with much deliberation and thought, I think I have found a way to counter her bottle throw, but we won't know until next GvG! So we should GvG again real soon, because it was a lot of fun and I'm really beginning to see why GvG can be so addicting.

Until next time and next GvG, have fun, good luck, and happy hunting!

For All Those Who Want to Reply

Happy Monday, people of Redstone!

Just a little PSA for anyone contemplating replying to any of my posts but are not sure if they can. I have made it so you can reply anonymously and don't even need any sort of account to reply to my posts!

So hopefully anyone who was debating whether or not to post a reply for fear of either lack of anonymity or just didn't know you could, now you can! Now go post your comments, concerns and questions.

Good luck, have fun, and happy hunting!

Descend into the Underworld

Good afternoon, Prandel!

Ichigo_Ichie had its first GvG which was my second GvG ever. We faced the guild Underworld, and I must say I was a little nervous going into it, considering they have a few renown high levels and I have a lot of respect for them. Also, I was less than 600, where my last GvG against Fresh, I was above 600 and still got demolished.

There were only 4 active players from our guild who went: Saki on their archer and using Gator for buffs, Senbanzakura, Jigg on his princess and angel, and myself.

Unfortunately, I did not get a video of the GvG though I did get a screenshot or two, which I hope suffices, though if anyone did get a video and would like to send it to me so I could post it, you would be very awesome in my book.

My first kill in the GvG and I actually think my first kill ever!

Yay we actually won!

I would like to thank Underworld and all the people who showed up for the GvG, it was a lot of fun and it was probably funny watching me run away anytime Kron came near me out of fear of being the only one to die on our team.

Thank you again and hopefully we can GvG again!

Can We All Just Get Along?

Please read if you have seen the hate posts which have recently been trending on our forums. Read especially if you have or thought of participating in the ongoing hate.

I know that I have made posts like this before, but I feel like this cannot be stressed enough.

Cheater or Entrepreneur?

Happy Friday, blog readers!

As many of you know, we have this awesome event going on every Tuesday and Thursday. Now, for anyone that has been away from the game or are just unable to attend, the event is basically a lovely GM (usually Boxshark from the ones that I have attended) comes and for one hour, spawns mobs of various levels and difficulties which when hit give a chance to place a trophy box directly into your inventory.

The items of these boxes range from Full Healing/Charging Potions to Ancient Dragon Hearts to Luxurious Christmas Boxes to various tiers of Lucky Tickets, which some may argue are the best thing you can acquire from these mob's boxes.

The general trick as to getting these boxes is to use a move that is quick but is low damaging, at least during the course of the event. This can allow a person to literally farm a mob for the entire event and barring death of either the character or the mob, get hundreds upon hundreds of boxes.

Now one would assume that promptly after the hour is over, that the GM would just simply make the mobs vanish, maybe make them explode in a giant display of fireworks or just , you know, explosions.

You have to admit, it would be a fitting end to an all around awesome event.

Instead, it seems that the GM in charge just chooses to leave the mobs out, not realizing that people literally will farm it for hours and hours on end after the event if allowed to. I mean these mobs have well over 50k health sometimes and if a person is hitting one's and two's on it, you can see how that mob won't be going away anytime soon.

Now, I come to you with a question: are these people cheaters, exploiting the GM who I believe assumes that people would have more integrity or are they entrepreneurs, using what is put in front of them so they can better their own gaming experience?

Tell me in the comments below!

Ichigo_Ichie Recruiting!

Good evening, Prandel!

Just a little PSA to say that my current guild, Ichigo_Ichie, is recruiting. Started by XxSakixX, it is a great guild to join with lots of friendly, kind people. We just started, so we are obviously an active guild and we are currently looking for more active players to join our family. Please PM Saki, our GM, or me if you are interested in joining an active guild with a fun, friendly, healthy environment.

Thank you, good luck, and happy hunting!
