PH Weekend and My First U!

Happy Monday all!

So I got a couple comments (not on here of course, not too many people care enough to do that haha) that were asking where all my blog posts went. "You used to blog twice a day! Now nothing in three whole days!"

I knew this weekend was going to be crazy. There was much leveling going on and I was hoping to drop my first unique items, and if I want to get 400 by the end of the month, I didn't want to have to split my time between this and missing out on levels that I could be getting. So forgive me and realize that this post is going to be a little bit on the longer side. So bear with me as we go through this blog post journey together.

So, Friday. Let's see. Well I started Friday at this level.

Still leveling at Redeye Do or Die, just the same as Thursday. Not too much to report on this day. I was hoping to reach 260 before reset, and as 00:00 rolled around, I was very happy to see this.

Levels of course are coming harder and harder on normal days. This weekend, of course, leveling was crazy.

Saturday, 20 April 2013

As I said earlier, I was really hoping for an unique item. Just one would make me the happiest person ever. Though, I thought with my 100 something luck, that a unique item would maybe drop just once, if at all.

Of course, Redstone loves to prove me wrong.

Actually, I was so sure I wasn't going to get an unique item that I picked it up and Jigg looked over and asked why I hadn't taken a screenshot. I was confused then saw what happened and to be honest, my reaction was a little more than it should have been.

Toby and I tend to have similar reactions about things.

Actually I got quite a few u's over the weekend, a couple which I bought at crazy cheap prices, according to Jigg. Here they all are in my inventory.

The most expensive thing to buy was definitely the Shadow Emblem at 200 million gold, but I (and Jigg, if that counts for anything) think it was worth it. Here is the rundown of the necklace.

Which is awesome, considering it isn't even NX. The instant death may only say 7% but when killing fifteen, twenty mobs a minute, it happens much more often than I would have thought. Yet, it is a surprise every time it happens.

Giant floating death skulls usually don't make me so gleeful.

Sleep is always a fun status effect too, and I can't help but giggle when I see giant z's over my enemies head.

Poor Golem, falling asleep while I murder him.

Also, Saturday had a couple other good things that happened. I got an Appetizing Berry, which made this experience even greater.

Which turned my experience from something like this -

To this -

Which made leveling extremely quickly, and I progressed down the floors very quickly. At the end of Saturday, I had gained 40+ levels. So at the end of the day, my level looks like this.

The last of the good news of Saturday was the fact that our siege war was a cake walk. Unfortunately for the other guild, no one really showed, except a monk and a princess from what I've seen, with the princess body jumping into said monk. We found out quickly that this monk may not be a heavy hitter but he was able to take as many hits without it even phasing him.

Found out from talking to him that he had over 10k health (though he was only 200+), but luckily we had Jigg and another princess who used Rabbit Rush and Dance Along, making the uber defense monk just look ridiculous. He finally decided that there was no point, and like the cool guy he was, suggested we just have a fun 1v1 with his archer.

Unfortunately, I did not get any screenshots of this, so if any of you did, feel free to comment and I can give you an email so I can post your screenshot with your name (IGN or real, whichever you like) and you will have my many thanks.

Sunday, 21 April 2013

Sunday was extremely, extremely slow. Unfortunately, I decided to switch to Guild Dungeon B3 and the experience there, even with a fresh berry, was absolutely horrendous. This, among other reasons I'm sure, was the reason why I only got to this level.

I did buy a set of great dragon horns and it is fun to see your baby toon hit double what they normally do.

Besides that, Sunday was pretty uneventful. Didn't feel as motivated on Sunday to level, so I only played maybe 6 hours. Then I kinda just passed out.

At the end of PH, we all feel like cute sleepy bunnies at a computer.

Power Hours really take a lot out of you and with the event today, I'm kinda worn out. I was hoping to get maybe five levels today, but think I'll be lucky to get two. That's okay, though, just as long as I keep progressing.

Also considering making an archer guide, but going to play her a little more before I do that. I don't want to give anyone bad advice, claiming to be an expert with a character that I've only played for a week and a half.

Oh yeah, the event today. They are having this "Save the Earth" event (or something like that) where huge spawns of mobs show up randomly in town and drop boxes that are filled with everything from Dragon Hearts (which I got 80 something) to Restat/Reskill scrolls (which I got a whopping 0). I missed the event held earlier this morning but did manage to attend the one at 1700 game time.

And holy shit, it was more packed than Walmart on Black Friday. I can't say it was an enjoyable experience, either. Being an archer, I kill from afar. It keeps me safe from close quarter attacks, and generally it keeps agro off me, which was very much needed with these monsters that could one hit kill me.

The disadvantage of this though, was the dozens of people running around and the second a monster was killed, would pick up every single box that fell.

Along with the intense lag that got my hopes up about boxes already picked up and being disconnected dozens of times, I was about to rage quit, but figured if I can get one box for every ten they got, then maybe I'd get that restat/reskill scroll that I wanted so bad.

Maybe tomorrow morning I'll try again, because as Klien and Prii have shown, there were a lot less people, thus a lot more distribution of boxes. We'll see how it goes down.

Funny enough (and quite sad for him), Jigg is at work at all the times that they have these events. I would run his toon but it's hard enough fighting for boxes as one person, and with two, it would be virtually impossible. If only his princess could pick up items while inside me, but alas, he cannot and thus my hands are tied.

Phew, that's it folks. That is my update from Friday to Monday, the longest post I've made since starting this blog (woot longest out four whole posts!) and hopefully it will stay that way. I will try to update much more often but right now I think I'm gonna go try and get those two levels before restart.

I hope you all are having a fantastic Monday and I will see you all tomorrow!

  1. mobs in b3 are 340ish (assuming you had 3 or less ppl in pt). Your lev is just low for it atm. It gets to around 18m right level solo so xp will get better.

    1. Yeah, found this out the hard way, so I've decided that I'm just going to grind at Redeye/Parble until I'm at least 330 or 340.

I can already solo basically all the monsters, besides the boss and a few others, but like you said, I'm in this awkward transition between B2 and B3. Unfortunately, neither Jigg or I realized this going into it for the first time, so it was 15-20 minutes wasted on I do believe a Fresh Berry.

Gonna have to try it again in a couple days once I'm a higher level.
